Saturday, September 25, Hope and Purpose Ministries distributed canned food, hot meals, cleaning supplies, milk, diapers, and baby food to over 1,000 families in LaPlace, Louisiana, which was devastated by Hurricane Ida.
Fr. Cyril Buyeera, pastor of Ascension of Our Lord Parish in LaPlace, said, "The good of the Lord will continue to shine in this place. So I don't have any doubts that things will get better. But we want to thank you (Hope and Purpose Ministries) so much for what you are doing for our community...I'm so happy that you are doing this in our community to raise the hopes of our people."
We will continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in some of the hardest hit areas of southeast Louisiana as these communities continue to recover from this storm.
