MINISTRY NEWS:

Recreation Ministry

Women’s Softball – cost $30 – those interested in playing, please sign up at the information desk located at the back of the Worship Center.

T-ball registration is now under way. Please sign up at the information desk located at the back of the Worship Center. The cost is $65 per child (second child from the same family is $55). Evaluations are March 20th at 11:00 a.m. Coaches and umpires are needed. Please see Brandon Wells or contact the church office for additional information.

Nursery Ministry

The nursery is in need of workers during the Sunday worship services. Please see Monica Coker if you are able to help out.

Children’s Ministry

Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 3rd at 10:30 a.m. During the month of March, please help out by donating candy and plastic eggs. A collection bin will be placed at the back of the Worship Center where you may place your donations.

Young Adults

Please join us on Good Friday (April 2nd) for “A Contemplation and Celebration of the Cross”. Jay Mooney has 30 tickets for this event. The tickets are $10.00 each. Please see Jay Mooney if you would like to be a part of this Celebration.

Ladies Ministry

Ladies Aerobics Class – each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. This class is taught by Debbie Kupperbusch. Please see Melodie Powell to sign up or you may also sign up at the information desk in the back of the worship center.

A ladies bible study is held in the small chapel on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. This class is led by Gloria Milam. Please see Gloria or contact the church office for more information.

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. – The Frazzled Female class meets in Pastor Rodney’s office. This class is currently studying “Me, Myself, and Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover”, a study by Jennifer Rothschild.

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. – a bible study for women led by Debbie Kupperbusch. This class is currently doing a study by Stormie Omartian. Please see Debbie or contact the church office for additional information.

Outdoor Ministry

Weekly bible study each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. This bible study is for anyone that would like to attend. Please see Shane Duren or contact the church office for additional information.

Set Free Ministry

This ministry meets on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. There is a time of fellowship and snacks from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. and bible study from 8:00 to 9:30 pm (time may vary). Set Free Ministries is a support group for those struggling with strongholds in their life. Please see the church website or Julie and Robert Davis for additional information.

Choir Ministry

The choir practices each Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Please see Heather Watkins or contact the church office if you need additional information or would like to join the choir. There will be additional practices the last two Sundays in February, at 4:30 p.m. prior to the evening service.

Upcoming Youth Fundraisers

March 3rd - The youth will be selling Honey Baked Ham gift certificates for Easter.

March 20th - Youth Fundraiser Car wash and Donut sale starting at 8:00 a.m. Please see John Powell for more information.

March 21st - Youth Fundraiser dinner after church services. The youth are raising money for Orange Beach. Please see John Powell if you need any additional information.

Wednesday night dinner

Each Wednesday, dinner is served between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Please get your ticket(s) at the back of the church at the information desk. The Cost is $5.00 per plate. The menu will be posted the Sunday before each Wednesday night. Tickets must be pre-purchased on Sunday prior to dinner on Wednesday.
